We will take you to one of the best treks in Nepal where you’ll walk on lesser crowded routes amidst calming nature. For 14 days, you’ll hike through mountainous terrain in a landscape that will blow your mind, so come join us on this amazing Manaslu Circuit Trek!
The trek requires you to hike for about 5-6 hours every day and even up to 8-10 hours on a few days while we are traversing the high passes. But, we assure you, it is going to be exciting and challenging and you will get to see jaw-dropping views of many high peaks over 8000 m.
The name Manaslu means “The Spirit-Mountain” and it certainly holds true to its name. The trek not only takes you to see spectacular views of Manaslu (8,163 m), the eighth highest mountain in the world but, gets you to cross the Manaslu Larke La Pass (5,106 m), a challenging pass that will test your skills.
The trails offer an unmatched mix of cultural exploration and breathtaking scenic beauty. You’ll get to hike through a tranquil atmosphere, through soaring peaks and green pastures bordering Tibet. What makes this trek super popular is the fact that trekkers spend a significant amount of time traversing the beautiful Tsum valley area which has remained unchanged for over centuries and you’ll hardly find any crowds here.
The trek begins from Arughat Bazaar and follows the stunning Budi Gandaki River up to the village of Deng. Soon, the valley narrows down and you will find yourselves walking on divine alpine meadows, ascending through Tibetan villages.
You’ll also come across amazing prayer wheels on the way. Eventually, we’ll reach Samagaon village, the largest village in the area. From here we’ll hike towards the Larkya La pass (5213m) and descend through spectacular meadows to reach Bimthang, before joining the Annapurna Circuit route, on our way to Besisahar.
Note that it is also possible to start the trek from the village of Barpak, over the Rupina la pass, or directly from Gorkha via Barpak and Laprak. And, we’ll choose the route according to the prevailing weather conditions.
Regarding fitness, remember that you must be in good shape with an undeterred determination to get onboard.
So, if you like the feel of the trip, don’t hesitate to send us a message to book your ticket. You’ll have an incredible time. Also, check this interesting trek to Mardi Himal, if looking for more treks in Nepal.
