A less traversed route located in the popular Annapurna region, Mardi Himal Trek is definitely worth making. It not only offers excellent vistas of snow-capped peaks but also lays out an immersive cultural experience in Nepal. So, come join us on this 10-day adventure!
The trail takes you to green valleys, through a dense forest of rhododendron, pines and lichens, onto alpine meadows. You’ll walk past beautiful streams and waterfalls and be enchanted by the scenic beauty of the region. Alongside this, the trek also takes you all the way to the Machhapuchhare Base camp.
Mardi Himal Trek definitely falls less on the touristy side and is more about exploring nature.
The trek begins from the beautiful lake city of Pokhara where, after spending your time boating in the mesmerizing Phewa Lake, you’ll head on the trail. The path leads to the upper Mardi Khola and gives you a chance to explore the amazing plant and animal life of the area.
You’ll be rewarded with fantastic views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Hiunchuli and Mount Fishtail on the way.
It is quite an adventurous trip and takes you onto steep valleys and sharp ridges, offering an authentic alpine experience. You’ll traverse a varied landscape of yak pastures and dense forests and it would be so exciting to trek through all these amazing places.
Remember that this is a moderate grade trek that involves walking and does not require any technical climbing skills, making it ideal for newbies as well as seasoned climbers.
So, if this trip excites you, don’t hesitate to send us a message to reserve your seat. We’ll be glad to accompany you on one of the most enjoyable experiences of your life.
