Description

Join us on this thrilling 4-day journey where you will ride in one of the best bike parks in Europe as we travel from Cervinia to Zermatt and pass through the breathtaking landscapes of the Alps.

We will meet on the first day in Cervinia, located in Aosta Valley, at the base of the Matterhorn, one of the most iconic peaks in the Alps. This will mark the start of this 4 day-trip as we begin with a mountain bike check and briefing for the next days to come.

The next morning, we will start with our first acclimatization ride while we take in the stunning mountain scenery, towering peaks, and lush valleys. Later in the afternoon, we will go through the Aplice Crossing towards Zermatt, a beautiful alpine car-free resort town in the Valais canton of Switzerland. Here you can experience its charming and peaceful atmosphere, visit traditional Swiss chalets, boutique shops, and gourmet restaurants.

On the third day of our trip, we will continue riding through the incredible scenery of Zermatt, surrounded by impressive peaks such as Monte Rosa, Breithorn as well as the iconic Matterhorn. Then we will reach Theodulo Refuge, at an impressive height of 3317m! Once there, we'll stay in a typical Monte Rosa mountain refuge with the most incredible view of the Alps.

On our final day, we'll rise early to witness the stunning dawn on the Matterhorn and prepare for the longest bike descent in the Alps. This last stretch from Plateau Rosà to Chatillon in Valle D'Aosta will be about 3000 meters of descents over 40km. Finally, before we return to Cervinia we'll stop for lunch in a mountain village and taste some delicious typical food.

We had a fantastic time on the Monte Rosa Tour and couldn’t recommend the team and trip highly enough. The tour was extremely well planned to ensure we had the best chance of achieving our goals whilst having a great time, thanks to a perfect mix of climbing and learning whilst giving our bodies a chance to adapt/ acclimatise and rest. Each day was varied and exciting and our guides were extremely knowledgeable, safe and great fun to spend a week with. The course was perfectly tailored to the teams skill level and allowed us all to have a brilliant time. Can’t thank Enrico, Marco and Francesco enough. Cheers guys
