Montagne de Thiey snowshoeing trip in Préalpes d’Azur

Discover a hidden gem in the French Prealps by taking part in this 1-day snowshoeing program in the Préalpes d’Azur Regional Natural Park.

The Montagne de Thiey is a stunning 1,553 meter peak in the French commune of Andon, in the district of Grasse. This remote mountain in the Préalpes d’Azur Regional Natural Park invites us to catch incredible views of the sea and the surrounding peaks from its top. Because it is less popular than other mountains in the region, we will enjoy a thrilling day in nature devoid of crowds. 

On this snowshoeing trip, we’ll cross a beautiful snow-covered mountain and contemplate wonderful views of Saint-Vallier-de-Thiey and the Vallon de Nans. Also, once at the top, we’ll get to see the Mediterranean Sea and part of the nearby mountains, such as Montagne de l’Audibergue.

Furthermore, this trip is open to participants of all levels. The ascent is not very demanding and has an elevation gain of around 500 meters. Therefore, all you will require to join is a good level of fitness. Of course, I will be there to help and guide you on the way.
