Description
Send world class routes from sport to trad, from single to multi-pitch, from 30m – 800m walls, during this 9 day climbing trip in the heart of the Atlas Mountains of Morocco!
During our 9 days together, we will stay at our base camp in the beautiful mountain village Taghia in a remote area of Morocco. From there, each day we will begin a new climbing adventure. Within a hiking time of 15 minutes to 1.5 hours, we can find every climb we want. The red limestone rock is world class, and the climbing here simply can’t get any better.
During this trip, we will have a full week just for climbing, as we explore the many routes and huge walls of the area. The day-by-day itinerary is below:
Day 1: Flight to Marrakesh. Transport from the airport in Marrakesh to Taghia, followed by a 2h walk to the base camp.
Days 2-8: Guided climbing days with a UIAGM-certified guide who knows the area and is familiar with the best routes.
Day 9: Transport back to the airport in Marrakesh and flight home.
Our base camp will be Gite Said with half board for 15 Euro/day. The food is very good and this is an amazing place to rest.
Due to the challenging nature and complexity of the routes, this program is suitable for advanced climbers.

About the guide
I'm a professional UIAGM mountain guide who works all over the world and has an addiction for traveling and working in many different places. I live in the southern part of Bavaria/Germany in a beautiful region called Allgäu. It's the perfect location to explore the Alps.
I work as a guide year-round and I love spending time with my clients in the mountains. Fulfilling their dreams and sharing beautiful moments together is what motivates me to do a great job every day.
I have spent a lot of time in the mountains since I was a kid. Mountaineering, climbing, ice climbing and running have always been a big part of my life and I hope to continue for many more years.
I was part of the German National Ski Mountaineering Team and have competed in all major global races, including Pierra Menta, PDG, Mezzalama, Tour du Rutor etc. I participated in many Worldcup races as well. This experience was very important for my guiding career in terms of motivation, knowledge and experience!
I guide my clients all over the world. I'll take you anywhere you want to go and we can reach a mountaineering goal together.
