If you want to enjoy a non technical climb in an Andean peak, Mount Penitentes is the perfect option for you.
Near the road that leads you to the famous Puente del Inca (“Inca’s Bridge” in English) is Mount Penitentes. A perfect opportunity to practice a climb with the best view of Mount Aconcagua and the Tupungato Volcano.
Mount Penitentes is 4.350 meters high and it’s a great point of The Andes Mountain Range. If you want to know more details about the trip, please find the itinerary below, at the end of this description.
Take into account that although no previous climbing experience is necessary, you have to be well trained. You must have good physical fit because the average hiking time is 6–8 hour per day.
