Description

Mount Triglav is Slovenia's highest and most iconic mountain! On this short ascent to the summit, you will start from one of its mountain huts and spend 3 to 5 hours on a sunrise or sunset ascent.

From Krma valley there is a 9 km hike to the highest hut in Slovenia - Triglavski dom na Kredarici, which is open year-round. Then, from the hut to the summit, the climb is a bit more demanding on a stretch of via ferrata (a section of the route that is protected by steel cables and steps). For this last section, it is recommended to go with a mountain guide for maximum safety and the best experience! This tour takes you from the hut to the summit and back to the hut.

We will begin either very early in the morning or in the afternoon so that we can see the sunrise or the sunset. Then, we return to the hut. In total, it will take us around 5 hours.

Keep in mind that this program is suitable for beginners and families. Although the via ferrata is exhilarating and exposed in some sections, you will be safely guided to the summit and back.

If you would like to climb to the top of Slovenia's highest and most emblematic mountain, then send me a message, and we can start planning a spectacular Triglav experience together. I look forward to guiding you!
