Description

Peru pays homage to one of its most iconic mountains, Pisco (5,752m), naming its most famous liquor the same. So, don’t miss the opportunity to explore this national treasure. Follow me on this 4-day guided ascent to reach the summit of such a majestic peak. And perhaps we could even celebrate our accomplishments accompanied by a glass of pisco.

Aside from its incomparable beauty, Nevado Pisco is also known as one of the easiest ascents in the Cordillera Blanca. Hence, it is perfect for those who don’t have previous experience climbing. Or, it is the ideal way to acclimatize, practice and prepare for higher targets. However, we could encounter crevasses on our journey. Therefore, we’ll gear up during the traverse through the glacier, with ropes, ice-axes and crampons.

Nonetheless, I will make sure we extreme precautions and follow all the rules necessary for a safe ascent. What’s more, I’ll accompany you all the way, until we reach Pisco’s summit, giving you pointers, so you can improve your climbing techniques.

But I promise it will be all worth it! Pisco will reward our effort with the purest air right at the top and hypnotizing sceneries. So, we will get privileged views of other equally magnificent peaks such as Huascaran, Peru’s highest mountain. But we’ll also be able to see up close Chacraraju, Chopicalqui and Huandoy amongst others.

So don’t pass on the opportunity to stand at the top of Pisco. Request to book this trip today, and get ready for an unforgettable adventure in the Peruvian Andes.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
