North Table Mountain & Golden Cliffs rock climbing in Golden, CO

I will guide you on this spectacular and enjoyable trip to North Table Mountain & Golden Cliffs, near Golden, Colorado, as we rock climb to our hearts content on the stunning and superb rock faces available, with unbeatable, epic and awesome views back out over the huge rocky terrain of the Colorado countryside.

North Table Mountain, with Golden Cliffs nestled within, is located in the East of the towering Rocky Mountains, and is an increasingly popular destination for outdoor activity enthusiasts. The landscape and terrain is very rocky, and animals such as coyotes, mountain lions, elk and rattlesnakes live within.

Our trip begins in the nearby town of Golden, where all relevant safety and general information will be dispensed. We then head straight to the rock climbing areas, where we begin our climbing as soon as possible.

Much of the climbing routes here are comfortable and relatively gentle, ensuring people of all abilities can have a go.

Due to the increased popularity of rock climbing here, a lot of the basalt is polished, giving it similar characteristics to limestone.

Some of the views from the rock climbing faces are truly breath taking and jaw-dropping, as the high vantage points reveal the sheer scale of the plains and Colorado countryside below, as it stretches out as far as the eye can see in to the distance and over the horizon.

After a full day of rock climbing we then head back to Golden, hopefully having whetted your appetite for more rock climbing and a desire to explore more of this magnificent region.
