The Pili Volcano is also known as the Acamarachi volcano and is part of the Andes mountain range. This Chilean stratovolcano is located in the region of Antofagasta, southeast of San Pedro de Atacama.  At 6,046 meters above sea level, its summit presents one of the most challenging mountaineering adventures of the country.

During our first day, we will explore the Salar de Pujsa. Located at 4,600 meters, in Los Flamencos National Reserve, participants will be able to enjoy a spectacular landscape of mountains, streams and lagoons. Regarding our accommodation, we will sleep in comfortable and cozy tents while enjoying the silence of Mother Nature.

It will be on our second day that we will take on the Pili Volcano. In its crater, we will discover the highest lake in Chile and one of the highest in the world: Lake Acamarachi (5,950 meters).

Keep in mind that the duration of the ascent will be 7 hours and it will take us 3 hours to descend.

The Pili Volcano (6,046 meters) is the highest volcano in northern Chile and is located in the Central Volcanic Zone of the Andes. So if you are ready for this 2-day adventure in one of Chile’s most beautiful volcanoes, request to book this trip and get ready for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure!
