Description
Ski touring in Queyras Valley is a really unforgettable experience. I invite you to join me in this incredible 6-day program.
Queyras is a high altitude valley located in France, more precisely in the region of Les Hautes-Alpes. It lies in the Regional Natural Park of Queyras, protecting all the natural setting with its unique flora an fauna. In addition, there are many picturesque and traditional village that make it an interesting cultural attraction.
Nature lovers that are looking for authenticity will be really surprised and delighted with this place. Furthermore, for ski and snowboard lovers, Queyras offers many ski touring itineraries along the valleys.
During these 6 days, we will rest in a really warm and comfortable accommodation in each village that we visit: Ceillac and Abriès. And on top of that, we will have the opportunity to enjoy the traditional gastronomy in this mountain area.
Skiers and splitboarders that want to join me for this ski touring trips should have in mind the below requirements.
+ Technical level: Participants should have some basic knowledge about ski touring. It is not a must.
+ Physical level: It is necessary to have a good physical condition. You’ll be skiing from 4 to 6 hours every day.

Itinerary
Day 1: Meeting and transfer to Ceillac.
Meeting at Oulx-Cesana, Briançon or Montdauphin-Guillestre train station.
Then tranfer by minibus to Ceillac.
First ski touring spots through Col Girardin – Tête de la Favière. Afterwards, we will take the lift to reach the St Anne Lake. Great skiing descents.
Lunch picnic, dinner and night at the accommodation in Ceillac.
Day 2: Chalanches peak and Clapeyto Valley
Breakfast and departure to Chalanches peak. This will allow us to discover the magical Clapeyto valley and the Agneli mountain.
Lunch picnic, dinner and night at the accommodation in Ceillac.
Day 3: Move to Abriès base and skiing some spots
Breakfast and departure to the Cote Belle peak. From there we will get incredible views of the valley and also enjoy the best ski touring routes.
Night at the accomodation in Abriès.
Day 4: Ski touring at the Tête du Longet
Breakfast and departure to Tête du Longet (3148m). From there we will enjoy some skiing routes and then we ascend to the head of the Longet summit. Situated in France and Italy, it offers amazing views.
Lunch picnic, dinner and night at the accommodation in Abriès.
Day 5: Skiing at Ségur Peak
Breakfast and depart for a great skiing in Ségur Peak. This itinerary will offer us great moment of joy as well on the ascent as on the descent.
Lunch picnic, dinner and night at the accommodation in Abriès.
Day 6: Last skiing in Tête de Pelvas summit and end of the trip
Breakfast and departure to Tête de Pelvas summit for enjoy our last skiing curves of the stay.
Picnic lunch.
Lastly, transfer to Montdauphin-Guillestre, Briançon or Oulx-Cesana train stations to get back to home.
