Rock climbing day on Donner Summit, Lake Tahoe (Multi-level)

I will guide you on this extremely fun and enjoyable day of rock climbing on Donner Summit, Lake Tahoe, an area that has long been a favourite destination for rock climbers due to the abundance of rock faces and boulders to climb, as well as the idyllic setting and marvelous weather.

Located just 30 miles from Lake Tahoe, close to the border of California and Nevada, Donner Summit is one of the finest rock climbing locations in the area, and is also known throughout the country for offering a range of outdoor activities to indulge in, both in Winter and Summer.

We will meet in the morning, where safety information and gear will be dispensed, before heading off to the rock climbing areas.

There are a wide range of crags and boulders that we can choose from, and the day will be focused on multi-level climbing, whereby there are several stops at a belay station, all on the highest quality granite around.

There will be ample time to take in the astonishing views over Donner Lake, and Lake Tahoe in the distance, with tree-lined alpine forests lining the paths from the rock faces down to the lake, and the weather during peak rock climbing season being perfectly conducive for a good time.

Our friendly experts will be able to shape the day based on your preferences, and also level of ability.

We then finish in the afternoon having improved our rock climbing and seen some amazing sights.
