When you think about New York City, rock climbing is probably not the first thing to come to your mind. On this trip, however, we will travel just an hour outside of the hustle and bustle of the city to one of the top rock climbing destinations in the United States: The Gunks. Join me for a day or more in the adventure in the Shawangunk Ridge, colloquially known as “The Gunks”.

All of my rock climbing trips are tailored to your needs. Regardless of your age, fitness level and rock climbing experience, we will build a personalized itinerary to suit your personal preferences. I want you to have a good time and challenge yourself here in The Gunks.

Options certainly abound in this world-class rock climbing venue near NYC. Here in The Gunks, you can find more than 1,000 rock climbing routes! Needless to say, we’ll have a lot of different routes from which to choose. There is truly something for everyone.

Whether you are a beginner or an expert with years of experience, we will have a great time climbing together in The Gunks. The only requirement is to be in decent shape and up for a physical challenge on the rocks!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
