Salt Lake is a great spot for teens to enjoy outdoor summer fun, and rock climbing is an excellent way for them to do it. Not only will they get a healthy dose of fresh air, they will also acquire strength and confidence. This is why we designed a special 5-day rock climbing program for teens. On this special course in Salt Lake, we take teens on an adventure packed experience designed both for their enjoyment and for their personal growth.
Every day we will start at 10 am. The meeting spot will be decided on by the guide on the previous night depending on weather and group conditions. Then, we will set off on an adventure packed fun day where teens will acquire a variety of rock climbing skills. We will explore different types of rock formations, including Quartzite, Granite, and Limestone. We will also work on techniques such as belaying and multi-pitch climbing, depending on group level. As teens become more familiar with their surrounding environment, and physical abilities, they will also build up on their sense of accomplishment and confidence. Meanwhile, they will also be having fun and interacting with other teens in a healthy environment.
This course is for teens aged 13-17. Previous climbing skills are not necessary. However, we can also organise more advanced groups for those that have tried climbing before. We will at all times be present to help and guide each teen to discover and develop their own potential.
Does a rock climbing course out in nature sound like just the thing for your teen? Are you a teen with a thirst for fun and adventure? Then make sure to book a place on this 5-day climbing course for teens in Salt Lake, Utah!
We also offer a 5-day climbing course for younger groups aged 9-12. Find more information here.
