Bring your friends, family or colleagues on an unforgettable sail and ski adventure on a private yacht!
After we rendezvous in Svalbard, we will embark on our three (or four day) adventure, taking ample opportunities to stop at various points and ski until we drop.
The spring is the optimal time for ski touring in this part of Norway, as temperatures get a bit warmer, days become a bit lighter and the mountains are covered in snow from slope to sea.
This trip is a great opportunity for skiers of all levels to get in some quality time with an experienced guide and learn as well as hone his or her off-piste skills.
We will spend our days exploring the isolated mountains, fjords and beaches before returning to the yacht to unwind and enjoy the starry nights. If we’re lucky, we might even be privy to the unparalleled beauty of the Aurora borealis.
The yacht on which we will be staying is MS Sjøveien (The Seaway). She is 44 meters in length and has eight large double cabins, each of which is equipped with a private full bathroom.
The yacht also boasts a lovely lounge area and ample deck space for taking in northern Norway’s unbeatable beauty.
So what are you waiting for? Book now for the the ski and sail opportunity of a lifetime in the sublime scenery and pristine powder of Norway’s Lyngen Alps!
If you like the look of this trip then I think you will also enjoy my 3-day sailing and hiking adventure through the Arctic Haute Route!

When you live full time above the Arctic Circle, you fall in love with the changes in weather, daylight and temperatures. Every season has its charm, so I can’t point out one favourite.
I lived in Tromsø for several years and now live in Lakselv, Finnmark. I know the coastline between Lofoten and North Cape fairly well, both in summer and winter. Take into account that this coastline extends for more than 1000 km and includes numerous islands, so it takes some time to cover it all!
I started my outdoor career as a Telemark ski instructor in 1999 and as a climbing instructor in 2004. I now hold an IFMGA guiding certificate. In 2007 I started to work full time as an outdoor guide, instructor and mentor. Nordic skiing, survival in summer and winter, bush crafting, avalanche awareness, ski mountaineering, rock climbing and ice climbing are just some of the activities I guide.
