Under the guidance of seasoned professionals with an in-depth local knowledge, you will be taking part in ski touring, snowshoeing, ice climbing, sea fishing and dogsledding activities for full immersion in the unique Norwegian landscape!
During this week, you will be staying at our comfy, warm and fully equipped apartments at the Lyngen Outdoor Center, with breathtaking views. So after a long and rewarding day, you can relax at the sauna, and maybe even admire the polar lights!
The Lyngen Alps are located in Northern Norway, set across Scandinavian islands in the Norwegian Sea. In an area that is often associated with the Northern Lights and the Midnight Sun, the Lyngen Alps are also a vast and diverse landscape that is home to remarkable skiing conditions, world-class sea fishing, and frozen adventures of every shape and size.
Your program is designed to give you a taste of the winter sports of northern Scandinavia. The all-inclusive program lets us handle the logistics while you focus on having a fun, relaxing, and completely satisfying experience.
Based out of comfortable lodging on the island of Uloya, we propose a standard itinerary of 4 days with an IFMGA guide to do ski touring, ice climbing, snowshoeing, and to practice survival and safety techniques. And the 2 remaining days will be devoted to dogsledding (1/2 day), sea fishing and snow hole building.
The itinerary can be totally adapted depending on the group’s experience and objectives. So it can fit you if you are together with your family aiming to have fun and relax, if you want to try for the first time many different winter activities, or if you are experienced and want to challenge yourself in an amazing environment. So let us know what you are looking for in your trip and we will tailor it specifically for you and your group.
Each night will be spent in the relaxing and delightful accommodations on Uloya. Unwind in comfort while preparing for your next day out in the Arctic and rehashing the exciting memories you just made.

BEST TIME AND SNOW CONDITIONS Weather in February is usually somewhat colder than March in April. February is really hard to predict and quite variable: it could be icy and cold or you could have lots of powder and sun. On the other hand, late April could be too warm -with snowline at 300m - but usually, it is great. Generally speaking each month has its highlights, so just choose what you like!
Contact us upon booking for more information on the meeting location.
