Description

Calling all avid mountaineers for the adventure of a lifetime! Follow me to the Cordillera Blanca in Peru for an unforgettable experience. Over the course of 19 days, we’ll attempt to reach 3 impressive summits: Urus (5,450 meters), Ishinca (5,530 meters) and the outstanding Huascaran (6,768 meters).

For this trip, you’ll fly to Lima and take a bus to Huaraz. We’ll enjoy some acclimatization excursions and rest days and even an acclimatization day hike to Laguna Churup to prepare our bodies for the biggest challenge: the Huascaran summit at 6,768 meters above sea level, Peru’s highest mountain.

This trip will take place in the Cordillera Blanca, the world’s highest tropical mountain range, located in the beautiful Huascaran National Park, a UNESCO nature world heritage site.

Make sure to read the proposed itinerary described below. The itinerary may change due to weather conditions.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
