This Val d'Aran avalanche course will give you the essential knowledge to enjoy snowed mountains safely.
Although many people think that going hiking or skiing on powder is just having fun, it can be dangerous too. This Avalanche course will teach you different techniques to analyze better the snow conditions. Please note that this course can only be taught in Spanish.
Because avalanches can happen under lots of conditions, this course will be oriented according to your interests. That's why I'll work with small groups and I'll shape the program for you.
This is fundamental course if you want to start going out into the wild. And this information should be the first you know, even before learning how to ski, climb or hike in the mountain.
The course will teach first how to analyze properly the snow conditions to understand the risk of avalanches. Then I'll show you how to search and find buried victims, use the transceiver, shovel and probe correctly and other protocols to follow if an avalanche occurs.
So please contact me to make this Val d'Aran avalanche course happen. And please specify any requests that you may have, so I can make the proper arrangements in advance.
And if you’d like to check out some of my other courses, please take a look at my Val d’Aran introductory alpine course or my 2-day Val d’Aran introductory off piste skiing course.
