The Valle dell’Orco is a beautiful valley in the Piedmont area of Italy. Truly picturesque, the valley was given its name because of the river that flows through it, the Orco river.
Rock climbing in the Valle dell’Orco is an amazing activity. There are a number of different rock faces in the valley that rests at the foot of the majestic Gran Paradiso mountain (4,061m).
On this day trip, you will have an abundance of options as to which wall you can climb. The heights of the walls range from 170 metres to 250 meters. Some walls are more difficult than others. However, because there are so many different walls to choose from, people of all climbing levels can enjoy them. Thus making this trip one that is every bit as accessible as it is exciting.
The options from which you can choose include the Aimonin Tower, which has the Spill and April Fish walls. There is also the Sergent, which has the Nautilus, Places Wire, and the Incastromania walls. Finally, there is the Caporal, which has the Pachiderma plus Rattle Snake Ear, and the Sun Solar walls.
The Valle dell’Orco is a fun, beautiful, thrilling place with a wonderful variety of walls that you can scale. And it would be my pleasure to guide you on any one of them. So if you want to spend a day climbing up rock faces that lay just underneath one of Italy’s largest and most impressive mountains, the Gran Paradiso, send me a request.
