Description

Vallunaraju (5,686m) is one of the most impressive peaks in the Cordillera Blanca. You can see this dazzling mountain from the streets of the charming town of Huaraz. And, once we reach its summit, we’ll get mesmerizing views of other equally magnificent peaks, such as Oshapalca and Ranrapalca. So don’t miss the chance to stand at the top. And follow me on this 3-day guided ascent.

Nevado Vallunaraju means the Peak of Dreams in quechua. And when you get the opportunity to admire it, you understand why. What’s more, standing at the summit of this colossal peak, makes you feel like you are indeed in a dream come true.

Moreover, this is a fantastic experience for those who wish to acclimatize and get ready for higher ascents in the Andes mountain range. Also, it is the perfect trip for people with no previous experience, who wish to gain some, while enjoying breathtaking views of the Llaca Valley.

Over a period of three days we will explore this majestic mountain, as well as the area that surrounds it. We’ll begin our adventure in the town of Huaraz. After which we’ll head to Quebrada Llaca. And from there we’ll be able to reach Base Camp easily. Then, the next morning will begin early, around 3:00 a.m., crossing the moraine. Thereupon we’ll advance through a beautiful glacier until we reach the summit. Once we get to the top, the air we’ll breathe will be more pure, and the sceneries hypnotizing. After taking in the views, we’ll return to Base Camp. Finally, on our third day we’ll head back to Huaraz.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
