Description

For this trip, you will have the opportunity to hike for 3 days through  the valleys of beautiful Valsesia.

Valsesia is a region of northern Italy that is filled with beautiful valleys, towns, tourist villages and incredible peaks. Some of the most famous peaks that can be found all around the valleys include the Punta Gnifetti (4,554m), Corno Blanco (3,320m), Monte Tagliaferro (2,964m) and several others.

The terrain on this 3 day trip is comfortable, and will not involve much difficulty. Also, the refuges where we will be spending our nights are also quite comfortable, and serve delicious local food.

Over the course of the 3 days, we will cover a lot of ground, and you will get to see a lot of gorgeous scenery that makes the Valsesia area so incredible.

Starting in Alagna, we will make our way to the Mud Hill (2,324m). From there we will hike to the Ferioli refuge for some delicious local cuisine, and then on to Rima, where we will sleep for the night. The following day, we will trek through the woods and make our way up to the Termo Hill (2,351m). After that, we will head down to the Trasinera river, hike through some mountainous pastures and stop at Carcoforo (1,304m), where we will eat and spend the night. On the final day, we will hike through the valley of Egua and climb to the Egua Hill (2,239m). Following the hill, we will head back down, pass the Baranca lake, before concluding our journey at Santa Maria di Fobello.

On this 3 day hiking tour, you will get to see a great deal of Valsesia. From beautiful pastures and forests to placid rivers and lakes, this trek through nature will relax and inspire you. If you want to enjoy this journey, just send me a request, and let me guide you.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
