Would you like to discover a fantastic activity that allows you to explore the mountains in a unique way? Learn the via ferrata basics on this 2-day program in the Cinque Torri.
The Cinque Torri is a mountain group that belongs to the Ampezzo Dolomites, in the Italian region of Veneto near Cortina d’Ampezzo. The group has 5 main ridges and is a great point of interest for different sportive activities. On this 2-day program, I invite you to enjoy via ferrata in this area.
On the first day of the program, we’ll go to the Cinque Torri where we’ll share a basic climbing techniques course. I’ll teach you about rope, knots, vertical terrain, fear management and use of the equipment, among other important topics, and we’ll practice in order to gain independence and confidence.
Afterwards, we’ll continue to Mount Averau, the tallest mountain in the Nuvolau group in the Dolomites. Once there, you’ll have the chance to put into practice what you’ve learned on the course. Of course, I’ll be with you during the whole journey to help you with everything that you need.
On the second day of the program, we’ll continue practicing and experimenting via ferrata in the area. We’ll choose a route together according to your preferences and go for it.
As this is a beginners program, it’s not necessary to have prior via ferrata experience. However, consider that the difficulty goes from easy to intermediate and that it’s important to be physically fit.
So, do you find this program attractive? Then get in touch with me by sending your request to book your place. I’m sure you’ll love climbing in the beautiful Dolomites!
Looking for a more advanced program? Then take a look at this winter via ferrata that I lead near Cortina d’Ampezzo.

The trip itself and Refaelo the guide was great and they even gave a refund for my daughter who didn't participate at last due to sickness. But All the corresponding before the trip was bad. No details were given about the ferrata and not even about the meeting point and time. It took a lot of time to get answers for my questions and sometimes didn't get any.

Our guide Jacomo was incredible! He told us so much about the mountains and the area, about the fauna and the history of ferratas. We had an amazing time with him.
