Located in the northwestern coast of Italy, Finale Ligure is known for being right next to the Rock of Caprazoppa, a very steep mountain made of limestone rock. This makes it one of the most important climbing and via ferrata sites in Europe.
We can offer different via ferrata options in this area.
On one side, in the main climbing area of Finale Ligure, we created some adventure lines through caves and ancient climbing routes. You will find a via ferrata with exposed cornices but easy to climb and abseil.
There are also several via ferrata routes closer to town. The closest one, the popular Ferrata degli Artisti, is known for the paintings made by artist Mario Nebiolo on its rock walls. It does not present technical difficulties but its high altitude makes it very attractive. After a whole day of climbing, we will reach the summit of Bric Agnellino. From there, you will enjoy unforgettable views of the Italian Riviera.
Via ferrata is practiced on stone walls equipped with steel cables, ladders, fixed ropes and other devices, which allow you to climb in complete safety, even if you don't have any technical skills.
Don’t forget that the Italian Riviera is a very popular seaside area, with varied accommodation, gastronomic, and adventure options. Finale Ligure is just 30 minute away from Genova .
So, if you are ready for this outdoor adventure, please contact me! I am sure that you will never forget your day of via ferrata in the huge rocks of Finale Ligure!
And if you’re looking for a classical climbing experience in this region, you can also try my single-pitch rock climbing day trips in Finale Ligure.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
