Description

Enjoy a fun half-day of adventure during this thrilling canyoning trip in the emerald green waters of Vione Canyon, near Lake Garda in Northern Italy!

Canyoning is the perfect adventure for the whole family to enjoy together. Together, we will descend a canyon, jumping, rappelling, and sliding along the way. No special skills are required – you don't need to be a particularly good swimmer, although basic swimming is necessary, and we will provide the gear you need. All that's necessary is a sense of adventure and a desire to have fun.

Vione Canyon is the perfect setting for our adventure together. It is a beautiful canyon filled with lush vegetation that is perfectly reflected in the clear green hue of the canyon's waters. Narrow rocky passages open up into beautiful deep pools filled with warm water that is just the right temperature for swimming. This canyon features a highest jump of 5 meters, a longest slide of 6 meters, and a longest abseil of 40 meters.

Availability of this trip is dependent on water levels of the canyon, as during the summer months the canyon may be dry. The whole trip will last about 6 hours round trip, including transfer time to the canyon (pick up at approximately 8am, with drop off around 2pm).

Mountain Guide

Certified mountain and ski guide and is directing since 15 years the Mountain School Mmove (former Friends of Arco). In the past, his passion had driven him for weeks to the solitude of the Alps, of Patagonia, or of the icy heights of the Karakorum to climb famous walls and peaks and open up new routes.

Today his priorities have moved. He wants to share his enthusiasm for the mountains - while working with his guests and in his spare time with his sons, as his father has once done with him. Mauro Girardi is very proud on its enthusiastic and highly qualified team of local Mountain-and Ski Guides, Hiking Guides and office employees. Mmove is not just a mountain school, but is a steadily growing circle of friends, who would like to realize great experiences. We like to Mmove it !!

Mmove is the only mountain school in the Alto Garda region with a guaranteed weekly program and activities for all tastes and the whole family.

The team is formed by 8 IFMGA/UIAGM Guides, so if Mauro is not available, one of the other highly qualified members of the team will be the guide.

This was a good trip. I joined with my 7y/o daughter who has no climbing experience. She had a good time. Although I am not sure how to change this, from my personal perspective, the trip would have been even better if there would also be a bigger challenge for adults.
