Zakopane is the starting point for the best Polish outdoor adventures. The 350-year old city is easily accessed from Krakow and makes for an excellent escape from the daily grind. Its idyllic setting, nestled in between the Tatras Mountains and Gubałówka Hill, will make you feel like you are staying inside the setting of a fairytale.
