Located in **Northern Sweden**, this place offer **5,000 square kilometers of snowboarding terrain** (half the size of all Austrian ski resorts) with amazing powder snow and more than 100 peaks to choose from. Besides, the peaks reach from 600 to 2,100 meters. The area is surrounded by **Björkliden**, **Riksgränsen Abisko** and the **Kebnekaise**.

Some of the areas we’ll go snowboarding include: **Riksgränsen, Abisko Alps, Kåtotjåkka, Nallo, Sälka** and **Kebnekaise.** They are all beautiful areas with impressive views and peaks. We’ll be snowboarding above tree line with long descents: the ideal scenario.

This trip is designed for advanced snowboarders in optimal physical condition, but skiers are welcome too! I offer **two and a half hours of helicopter time**, with the possibility to buy extra if the weather allows.

The gorgeous Lapland in **Northern Sweden** offers an area of **5,000 square kilometers** (half the size of all Austrian ski resorts) to explore in a helicopter. We’ll enjoy **7.5 hours of helicopter fun**, experiencing the best powder snow of the area. With 100 unique peaks to choose from, you’ll never get tired of it. The mountains range from 600 to 1,450 meters, and the highest is 2,100 meters!

Some of the snowboarding areas we can visit include: **Riksgränsen, Abisko Alps, Kåtotjåkka, Nallo, Sälka** and **Kebnekaise.** And some of the peaks we can snowboard or enjoy its view include **Vassitjåkka, Vuoitasrita, Keron, Pallentjåkka** and others.

**Come with me on this 4-day heliboarding trip in Lapland, Sweden!**

With **over 100 peaks between 600 and 1450 meters**, skiers and snowboarders will be amazed by Lapland’s beautiful mountains. During this **4-day heliboarding adventure**, participants will be able to discover t**his skier’s winter paradise.**

Located in northern Sweden, Lapland  is considered to be Europe’s last remaining wilderness area and in my opinion, it’s an excellent location for off-piste riding and an unbelievable spot for heliboarding!

The price for this 4-day trip **includes 5 flight hours** (additional time can be bought if conditions are good). We’ll be skiing in the area  comprised between Björkliden, Riksgränsen Abisko and the Kebnekaise massif. Thus, we’ll have to choose from 5000 square meters of skiable terrain!

I invite you to join me on a unique **7-day adventure, starting in Tromso** and combining spectacular ski tours around the **border triangle** of three Scandinavian countries: **Norway, Finland and Sweden.**

You will be amazed by the spectacular landscape of a wide open sea and **majestic mountains of the Lyngen Peninsula**. The Northern Norwegian coast is probably one of the best destinations in the world for ski tourers, specially in the second half of April.

We may also enjoy some great ski tours in **Tamokdalen, a wide valley well known among Nordic freeriders.** Often there is better snow here than in the coastal areas and the snow cover is usually more stable. Tamokdalen is **near the border with Sweden and Finland**, in the higher lands. There are also birch forests in this region, suitable for amazing tours and “treeriding” competitions.

On the other hand, Lapland, in Finland, will add a touch of mysticism to our tour. A must during this trip will be a **snowmobile ski tour from Finland to Sweden and back.** We always try to be flexible and make the most out of the conditions.

**Our base will be a typical norwegian house by the fjord, near Lakselvbukt, in Tromso**. Every day, we will make day trips from there. With daylight almost all day long, the start of the day and day program can vary. Taking advantage of the special Spring conditions in the north often requires flexible scheduling, but allows for extraordinary ski tour experiences! You can check the day-by-day itinerary below.

This tour is for skiers with some previous skiing experience away from the groomed slopes, but **you do not have to be a perfect powder skier**. It is enough if you are technically able to control slopes to some extent. However, you must be able to climb up to 5 hours, with approximately 8 hours of total hiking time per day.

Individual arrival in Tromso. We meet at Tromsø airport and continue (1 hour) to our accommodation. A typical norwegian house by the fjord, near Lakselvbukt. Once there, we will discuss the program for the upcoming week and have dinner.

We will make day trips from our base. With daylight almost all day long, the start of the day and day program can vary. Sometimes our choice is an “alpine start” early in the morning, sometimes we take advantage of the better conditions later in the day and go out in the afternoon. We want to take advantage of the special spring conditions in the north in the best possible way and this often requires flexible scheduling – but allows for extraordinary ski tour experiences. We usually take breakfast and dinner in our place. We will take day trips of about 1000-1500m. This means tours with a duration of about 5 hours of ascent and 8 hours in total.

We will have breakfast at our cabin and drive back to Tromsø airport.

﻿**Deep inside the Arctic Circle and far north of the wonderful Swedish Lapland, a long-distance path known as the King's Trail offers amazing opportunities for ski touring expeditions!**

Famous for being one of the world's "classic" ski touring routes, the King's Trail is ideal for those intermediate and advanced skiers who are ready to immerse in the dramatic scenery of the Swedish winter.

Our proposal is to travel all the way from the **Abisko Mountain Station** to the base of **Mt. Kebnekaise (2,195 m),** the highest peak in Sweden. From hut to hut, we’ll explore the most famous part of this route which is the **Abisko-Kebnekaise trail.** The distance between these accommodations vary from may 13-20 km, and consequently every day we'll cover between 12-20 km. Please bear in mind that in order to participate in this program all participants will need to have **a great physical condition**, **previous ski touring experience** **and be comfortable skiing with a pack weight of around 10-14kg.** For more information, you may find a detailed itinerary below!

We’ll enjoy a delicious dinner all together and we’ll review the last minute details of the trip.

\*For those with a special interest in the Northern Lights, we may add an extra night at Abisko before we start traveling, including a visit to the Aurora Sky Station.

We’ll travel through the **Abisko National Park** to **lake Abiskojaure** and to our beautiful and remote cabins located on the south side of the lake.

We’ll ascend all the way up to the high mountains where we’ll find other cabins that are located near the L**ake Alesjaure.**

Today we’ll cross over the **Tjäktja pass** at 1,440 m where we’ll enjoy the views of the **Tjäktjavagge Valley.**

From here, we’ll descend to the Sälka cabins.

Distance: 12km. Height difference: +150m, -300m.

We’ll explore the **Tjäktjavagge Valley** and ski towards **Singi**, where we’ll spend the night.

﻿**How about six days of skiing in one of the wildest and most beautiful mountain ranges in the Arctic? This is our proposal! Join us on this Kebnekaise 6-day ski tour in the magical Swedish Lapland!**

Located far north of Sweden, the Swedish Lapland is known for being the land of eight seasons, for its magical Northern Lights and for its mystical Midnight Sun. At 2,099 meters (6,886 feet) above sea level, **Kebnekaise** is the highest peak in the country and offers a paradisiac landscape of this remote exotic area where many peaks still have no name.

We’ll start this expedition by using a dog sled or a snowmobile to transport to our charming wooden cabin that will be our accommodation for our first two nights. Situated north of Kebnekaise and at the head of a vast valley of glacial origin, during these days we’ll ascend one or two summits with our skis and then we will start the crossing of the massif towards the south.

By crossing through several hills and over the course of 8 hours, we’ll reach our next accommodation: the “Tarfala” hut. If we are lucky and if the nights are clear, we’ll contemplate some of the incredible northern lights that are so common in the area. On the following day, we will ascend some more peaks and then we will go to the “Kebnekaise Station” where several comfortable and cozy cabins will be waiting for us. This will be the ideal accommodation from where to start our ascent to the Kebnekaise summit.

Please bear in mind that in order to participate in this program all participants will need to have **prior ski touring experience** as well as a **good fitness level.**

Join one of our experienced guides for this exhilarating ski touring journey through the Swedish Haute Route!

As spring comes into full swing, ski touring conditions in this part of Sweden become ideal. The days become quite long and the temperatures more mild, meaning we will be able to spend more time exploring the Swedish Lapland.

Over the course of the week, we will ski from mountain hut to mountain hut, making detours to explore alpine forests and climb unnamed peaks in this remote wilderness.

Many days, we will have the trail all to ourselves, leaving us in perfect peace and quiet.

Among the named mountains and hills we will have the option of climbing up and skiing back down are Sälka, Kaskasatjåkka and Kebnekaise. All three offer stunning views of the surrounding, untouched wilderness and perfect powder for our descents.

For many, Kaskasatjåkka is the highlight of the week. The climb is challenging, but the views from the top are sublime and the run down into the Tarfala valley is absolutely spectacular.

We will likely follow the standard itinerary for the Haute Route over the course of this week, but there will certainly be room for some flexibility. Please contact us for a specific itinerary.

By the end of our journey, you will have fallen for the peaceful and beautiful ambiance the Swedish Lapland and only be able to think about returning as soon as possible.
