Located on the eastern shores of Sardinia is the beautiful hamlet of Arbatax, facing the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is the third-largest town in the province of Nuoro after Lanusei and Tortoli. Its rugged terrain offers some of the most scenic spots on the whole island of Sardinia.

Beside the Sardinian shores stretches the great trekking route of Selvaggio Blu. Extending for over 40 kilometres from the touristic port of Santa Maria Navarrese to the gorgeous beach of Cala Sisine. The epic trekking route is said to be the final wild route left in the Mediterranean, and ranges from 1 meter to 770 meters.

And while hiking is a core element of exploring the great wonders of the region, you’ll also have the chance to abseil and scramble among the rugged nature of Arbatax.

The climate of Arbatax is warm and temperate, with the majority of rainfall landing in the winter months, and summers quite dry.
