Join me in this amazing 10-day **ski touring traverse in Chile**, and get ready to ski on the slopes of **4 volcanoes**!

We will go up to the group of stratovolcanos **Nevados de Chillan**, with the **Chillan Volcano**, and to the top of the **Lonquimay** (2865 m), **Llaima** (3125 m) and **Villarrica Volcanoes** (2847 m). This **ski touring traverse in Chile** is an experience you cannnot miss!

I will meet you in Concepción, a city in the southwest of Chile. Then, we will drive to **Nevados de Chillan**. It has become the most popular ski center in the country. Most important, with its ever changing terrain, it offers an incredible backcountry access. So, we will start our **ski touring traverse in Chile**, staying in Chillan for 3 nights.

Then, we will travel to the **Lonquimay Volcano (2865 m)**. We will have the option to visit some relaxing hot springs nearby. Our tour continues to the summit of this volcano, going through Corralco Ski Resort.

After Lonquimay, I will take you to the **Llaima Volcano (3125 m)**. We will go up to its summit, going through Las Araucarias ski resort.

On our eighth day we will travel to the city of Pucon. We will also have the option to visit hot springs here. Next morning, I will guide you to the summit of the **Villarrica Volcano (2847 m).** Finally, we will travel to the city of Temuco.

Arrival in Santiago de Chile, the capital of Chile.  Transfer to take a national flight to Concepcion airport (CCP). I will pick you up in Concepción in a private transport. We will drive to Nevados de Chillan hotel, where we will stay for the next 3 nights.

The **Andean lagoons guided trekking** is the perfect day adventure to enjoy some extraordinary Patagonian landscapes!

Also you don’t need to have previous hiking experience or even be in perfect shape! Due to the mild gradient of the path and the cover of the forest, the walk is aimed to inexperienced hikers.

Starting at **Pucón,** we’ll go southeast to the **Puesco Sector** of the **Parque Nacional** **Villarrica**, almost in the border with Argentina. The path starts at the **Quilleihue Lake** shore. From there on we’ll walk by four beautiful lagoons: **Escondida, Huinfiuca, Plato and Verde.** 

Probably the most outstanding feature on this path is the **Lanin Volcano.** During the trekking we’ll have the north face of the volcano in plain view. **And this perfectly cone shaped volcano, painted white by the snow, is an eye magnet!**

### **Welcome to a different and fun adventure day in El Pillan!** 

**Canyoning in El Pillan** is a good opportunity for everyone who wants to spend a great day outdoors. Besides that, it is a place that offers **options for all levels**, from beginners to experts.

As you may know, El Pillan is a rural locality in the Fiordo Reñihue (fjord), in the **Region of Los Lagos** (Chile). It is close to Caleta Fiordo Largo, waiting point for the ferry to Caleta Gonzalo. Thanks to its amazing fjords it is a suitable place for the practice of canyoning.

As for the day tour I am proposing, it consists of **a 22-km rappel to get into the canyon**, which is next to a stunning waterfall. Once inside, you will have the chance to test yourself through small slides and jumps as well as a unique zip-line.

Canyoning in El Pillan is a perfect combination of water, slides and rock climbing. You’ll never be bored here since fun and adventures are always waiting for you!

**The Choshuenco (2415m) is a glaciated volcano located in the Chilean Patagonia, very popular among hiking and climbing lovers**. If you want to reach its summit under expert guidance, join me: let’s have a beautiful alpine adventure in the Andes!

**Together with his twin, El Mocho (2422m), this impressive mountain dominates much of the Los Rios landscape, in southern Chile**. They are both located within the Mocho-Choshuenco National Reserve and the Huilo-Huilo Natural Reserve.

This 2-day trip (1 day of mountaineering) will takes us to the top of Choshuenco. **The ascent is relatively easy and combines hiking with short stages of rock and ice climbing.** Once at the summit, **the view is incredible: the Valdivian jungle, the Neltume and Pirihueico lakes, among others, and several volcanoes such as Llanín and Villarica.**

Transfer to the base of Choshuenco (1,040m). Depending on the conditions of the road, maybe we can ascend by vehicle up to 1,480 meters. Soft ascent, crossing a glacier and then a sharp edge. Then we must climb a rock (IV+ French).

I want to invite you to discover a magical place in the **south of Chile**! Join me in this 1-day trek to the **El Cañi Reserve**, in **Pucón**. We will walk through a natural sanctuary, full of lakes, lagoons and with a diverse fauna and flora.

I will guide you during the 6/8 hours trek and I will point out any birds or animals in the area, such as foxes, pudus (small deer), pumas or condores. Also, I will explain the changes we will see in the vegetation. Besides, I wil tell you about local customs!

The **highlight of the El Cañi trek** is a viewpoint that offers a spectacular panoramic view. It’s 1550 meters above sea level, so on a clear day you we will have **a fantastic 360° sight of the area**, with its mountains and lakes. We will see four volcanoes! Also, we will have views towards the Andes range and beyond!

Along our trek, we will walk among forests of coihue and lenga, typical species of the region. Most important, we will find one of the Earth’s oldest tree species in its natural habitat, the araucaria.

**Laguna Cejar is located in the Salar de Atacama (2,600 m), 20 kilometers away from the town of San Pedro de Atacama (2,440 m), in the Atacama Desert.**

The **Salar de Atacama** is the largest salt flat in Chile covering 3,000 square kilometers west to the **Andes Mountains** (6,961 m).

Our tour will depart at 4PM from my agency in San Pedro. Prior to this, participants will be picked up at their accommodation in the village. We will drive around 25 minutes in a 4×4 vehicle through the desert to our destination.

Laguna Cejar is well known for its turquoise water, its white shore made of salt crystals of different shapes and sizes, and for hosting pale pink Andean flamingos, which stop to feed. Guests will have time to walk around the lagoon, take pictures, and go swimming (a must!). Its waters stay warm year-round and its high concentration of salt allows swimmers to float comfortably and effortless on the surface.

The tour will end with a visit to **Laguna Tebinquinche**, just 9 kilometers from San Pedro. We will stop to enjoy a snack and a pisco sour, Chile’s national drink, while we witness the sunset behind the Andes and its reflection on the lagoon.

**Huerquehue National Park hiking tour** is an adventure for all the family! If you love nature and enjoy being surrounded by beautiful lakes and amazing forests you’ll be extremely pleased with this Hike!

The **Huerquehue National Park** is located 35 kilometers east of Pucón. The government created it in 1967 to protect an area with such a scenery. And also to conserve its biodiversity. Therefore it’s easy to imagine how attractive it can be!

I’ll take you around the **Los Lagos Path**, in a 4 to 6 hours easy hike. And while we walk through the unique Andean Patagonic Forest, we’ll slowly climb 500 meters.

The path will take us through two lakes – **Chico and Toro** – and one lagoon – **Verde –**. These three are really close together, making a dazzling scene. The blue water combines perfectly with the green forest. But the really breathtaking view will be to see the **Tinquilco lake** with the **Villarrica volcano** on its back. There are also lots of waterfalls to watch.

Through the whole trip I’ll explain all about the biological diversity. And I’ll show you the native trees such as the **Coihue** and the unique **Araucaria Araucana**. In addition you’ll have to be aware to spot one of the many Patagonian animals like Condors, pumas, forest monkeys and black woodpeckers!

If you are looking for a challenging adventure, join me in this rock climbing program in **Las Peinetas**! It’s **suitable for all levels**! Come and practice alpine climbing in this amazing granite mass in **an untouched area in the south of Chile**.

Las Peinetas (“the combs”) is surrounded by beautiful araucaria trees forest. It’s only 70 kilometres from **Pucon**, on the **border between Argentina and Chile**.

I will guide you along this exciting day program. It’s **physically demanding**, **so you should be in excellent physical condition,** with previous climbing and trekking experience. And if you are a beginner, you must receive a previous half day climbing training near Pucon.

Also, this high performance activity requires a positive mental attitude as well as resilience to face the challenges.

**Las Peinetas** (2000 m) has multiple summits, and a 400 meter face. So, we will be able to chose among two different routes, depending on your level. You can complete the program in one day, in 18 hours. Or either do it in 2 days, camping overnight, with a longer trekking route.

It will be a very long day, we will trek for 6 hours in total: 3 hours up and 3 hours down. We will complete in total 10 hours of 5.8 climbing, 5 or 6 pitches.

Along our trek, we will walk into the magical araucaria forest. Besides, we will have a **stunning panoramic view**. We will see both the Chilean and Argentine sides of the **Andes range**! Also, the sight of the Lanín, Villarica and Llaima volcanoes, and the Tromen Lake.

Besides, the vegetation around the area involves a certain amount of _bushwhacking._ That makes it a special and different experience from traditional rock climbing! Additionally, if we are lucky enough, we will get to see typical fauna of the area, like cóndor or foxes.

The **Villarrica Volcano**, also known locally as Rucapillan (which means _strong spirit_), is located in the 9th **region of Araucania**, between the Villarrica and Pucón villages. It is a really lonely mountain since it is not surrounded by other peaks. Its conical shape covered with an immaculate white snow gives an outstanding beauty to this desolate landscape.

Villarrica is **the most active volcano in Chile**, registering its last eruption in March 2015. However it is at the same time the most climbed massif in America with more than 14,000 people coming to Chile each season.

This **2-day climbing trip** proposes to ascend a total of 1400 meters of altitude and 6 kilometers of route. In any case the ascent implies a simple slope reaching a maximum of 35º of inclination in its most difficult section. **The ascent to the summit will take less than 5 hours**. From up there we can look inside the volcanic caldera and see the lava boiling. **It’ll be a really exciting adventure!**
