Carve your path through powder snow on a ski touring adventure in Chile's Cerro Castillo! Join seasoned guide Diego in the charming village of Cerro Castillo and ascend the range's southern slopes, marveling at panoramic views of the various glaciers, peaks, valleys, and lakes that await.

Ski Touring Trip in Cerro Castillo, Patagonia

Cerro Castillo is located in the Aysén region in Chile, and at 2,675 m (8,776 ft) it is an exciting climbing destination. On this 3-day trip, we will climb to its summit and appreciate the stunning views from the top.

We will set off on our adventure from Cerro Castillo town. On the first day, we will hike for around 5 hours to our campsite. Then, on the second day of the tour, we will climb to the summit of Cerro Castillo and return to the campsite. Finally, on the third day of the tour, we will pack up and leave.

Keep in mind that this is a straightforward climb that does not involve technical skills. Therefore, it's open to anyone who want to participate that is sufficiently fit. We will be there to help and guide you on the way!

Cerro Castillo Rock Climbing in Chile

Besides being the capital of Chile and one of the largest cities in the Americas, Santiago is a perfect starting point for outdoor adventures. **This trip is your chance to practice rock climbing in the stunning Cajon del Maipo: join me!**

**Cajon del Maipo is a canyon formed by the basin of the Maipo River.** It is located in the Central Andes, near Santiago. With many rivers and streams, as well as **impressive rock formations**, this area is a popular sport tourism destination.

On this day outing, we will head up one or several rock climbing routes in Cajon del Maipo. **There are crags for all levels and we can choose between single and multi-pitch spots**. Furthermore, from up high, you’ll enjoy b**reathtaking views of the Andes!**

Keep in mind that you don’t need previous experience for the single pitch routes, but you do if you want to try multi-pitch climbing. Of course, I will be there to help and guide you on the way.

On this 6-day tour in Chile’s awe-inspiring Torres del Paine, we will climb the north tower via the Monzino route and enjoy an unforgettable rock climbing adventure.

The tour starts in Puerto Natale, which is the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park. From there, climbing will take us several days and will hopefully include an amazing sunrise with 360-degree views.

You will need to be prepared to hike around 5 hours a day, with all of your gear. Or, you can also hire porters if you would like them to help you carry it. Additionally, you will require prior rock climbing experience with the ability to climb 5.10/5+ routes. It goes without saying that you will need a good fitness level too.
