Description

Besides being the capital of Chile and one of the largest cities in the Americas, Santiago is a perfect starting point for outdoor adventures. This trip is your chance to practice rock climbing in the stunning Cajon del Maipo: join me!

Cajon del Maipo is a canyon formed by the basin of the Maipo River. It is located in the Central Andes, near Santiago. With many rivers and streams, as well as impressive rock formations, this area is a popular sport tourism destination.

On this day outing, we will head up one or several rock climbing routes in Cajon del Maipo. There are crags for all levels and we can choose between single and multi-pitch spots. Furthermore, from up high, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Andes!

Keep in mind that you don’t need previous experience for the single pitch routes, but you do if you want to try multi-pitch climbing. Of course, I will be there to help and guide you on the way.

So, if you are up for this rock climbing adventure near Santiago, please contact me. Cajon del Maipo will surprise you for its beautiful landscapes and the excellent quality of its rock!

I did not climb with Diego but I ended up finding another guide Renato through him and had an amazing time out climbing. I would highly recommend going out!
