My name is Félix Aznar and I am High Mountain Guide and Alpine Ski coach. I live in the Spanish Pyrenees, very close to France. Here I guide my clients and practice mountain sports, like rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, mountain skiing, free riding and mountain biking.

I have lived in the mountains since I was a child. I first discovered them along my father, through catlle raising; later helping my cousin count the ibex, and finally climbing all the peaks in my valley and traveling all over the world to discover fascinating corners. Some of my favorite trips were Tromso (Norway), Lang Tang (Nepal) and Taghia (Morocco). I love the mountain world, their flowers and their animals, and the silence in them.

### **The French Pyrenees are full of amazing peaks and passes. They are also full of exceptional viewpoints that once reached will be immensely appreciated. And, on this full-day adventure, I would like to guide you on a traverse of the beautiful Midi D’Ossau.**

Our adventure that will take you across the **Midi D’Ossau** consists of different aspects. Those aspects include the ascent of the **Petit Pic D’Ossau,** the descent to the **Fourche Pass** and travelling along the peak’s normal route.

Throughout this day long trip, you will see a great deal. You will be able to bask in the beauty of the **Tena Valley**, as well as the **D’Ossau Valley**. Furthermore, you will get to see many peaks found throughout the **French Pyrenees**.

Whenever you are enjoying a mountaineering trip, it is important that you are in **good physical condition**, especially one like this that lasts for **approximately 10 hours**. You should also have **prior experience rock climbing experience** as well.

Follow me on this mountaineering program in the **Tena Valley** near **Panticosa** and discover some of the best mountains in the **Pyrenees**.

On this opportunity, I would like to invite you to enjoy **one or more days** exploring the surroundings of the Tena Valley, in the southern side of the Pyrenees.

While ascending to the mountains, we will have the pleasure to contemplate the beautiful nature around us in a peaceful environment. Some of the peaks that we will be able to reach are **Vignemale** (**3,298 meters**), **Pic du Midi D’Ossau** (**2,885 meters**), **La Gran Facha** (**3,005 meters**) and **Garmo Negro** (**3,064 meters**), among many others.

Please, keep in mind that the activity usually lasts between **10 and 12 hours per day**, so it is important to be **physically fit**.

As for the starting point, we will meet in the participant’s accommodation. On the following days, we will spend the nights in mountain huts.

### Would you like to discover the most beautiful mountains in the French Pyrenees? Then join me on this flexible program in the Néouvielle Massif National Park and climb some of the massif’s main peaks.

The Néouvielle nature reserve stands out for its numerous lakes, the beauty of its mountains, stunning pine forests, as well as for the microclimate created by these conditions. The flora and fauna is vibrant and landscapes, awe-inspiring.

You will have the chance to discover some of the top spots in this beautiful location in the French Pyrenees on a tailored mountaineering adventure.  We can climb the normal routes to the main peaks: P**ic Long, Pic du Neouvielle, Pic de Trois Conseillers, Pic du Ramougn, and Pic Maubic.**  Additionally, we can also climb more technical routes with incredible rock including the **Trois Conseillers ridge, Pic Long ridge, and Pic Maubic ridge,** among others.  We will design the itinerary together depending on your preferences.

The meeting point of our adventure will be in the French town of **Oredon,** where we will stay. Then, the next day we will go up to the **Cap du Long** or **Lac d’Aubert** lakes which will be the starting point of our adventure. The **routes usually take between 8 and 12 hours to climb**, depending on how difficult they are, and on participants’ level of experience.

### **During this amazing 2-day adventure, I would like to take you on a mountaineering traverse of the Pic Balaitus (3,144m) in the Tena Valley of Spain.**

Located in the **Spanish Pyrenees, the Pic Balaitus** is a beautiful peak. Furthermore, the views you will get to enjoy of the large and stunning **Tena Valley** are unbelievable.

Our trip will begin near the town of **Sallent de Gallego**, by the **La Sarra Lake**. From there, we will venture to the **Respomuso Shelter**, where we will spend the night. The views you will get to enjoy throughout the first day are  wonderful.

On the second day of the trip, early in the morning, we will make our way to the **La Brecha de Latour**. The journey will take **approximately 2 hours**. From there, we will climb to the top of the **Pic Balaitus**. After you’ve enjoyed the remarkable views from the summit, we will then descend through the **Gran Diagonal toward the Arriel Lakes and back through the Tena Valley** until we reach the **La Sarra Lake**.

Participants on this trip should be in **good physical condition**. You should also have **prior climbing experience** as well.
