Pic du Néouvielle, mountaineering in the French Pyrenees

Would you like to discover the most beautiful mountains in the French Pyrenees? Then join me on this flexible program in the Néouvielle Massif National Park and climb some of the massif’s main peaks.

The Néouvielle nature reserve stands out for its numerous lakes, the beauty of its mountains, stunning pine forests, as well as for the microclimate created by these conditions. The flora and fauna is vibrant and landscapes, awe-inspiring.

You will have the chance to discover some of the top spots in this beautiful location in the French Pyrenees on a tailored mountaineering adventure.  We can climb the normal routes to the main peaks: Pic Long, Pic du Neouvielle, Pic de Trois Conseillers, Pic du Ramougn, and Pic Maubic.  Additionally, we can also climb more technical routes with incredible rock including the Trois Conseillers ridge, Pic Long ridge, and Pic Maubic ridge, among others.  We will design the itinerary together depending on your preferences.

The meeting point of our adventure will be in the French town of Oredon, where we will stay. Then, the next day we will go up to the Cap du Long or Lac d’Aubert lakes which will be the starting point of our adventure. The routes usually take between 8 and 12 hours to climb, depending on how difficult they are, and on participants’ level of experience.
