**Val Bodengo is without a doubt one of the most famous descents in the Italian region of Lombardy. And in my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful spots for canyoning in Italy. Consequently, it will be my pleasure to guide you on this exciting canyoning adventure!**

Famous for its emerald green pools, Val Bodengo offers countless jumps and, a 20-25 meter shuttle slide. During our 2.5 hour adventure, we will enjoy the view as we learn different descent techniques. Additionally, we will practice use of ropes while exploring one of the most spectacular Italian canyons in the region.

This tour is ideal for children 1o years or older, families, and groups. **Please take into account that all children under 18 must come with an adult. Also, I’ll lead this adventure for a minimum of 4 people per group.**

Canyoning day trip in Val Bodengo for beginners

**From April to October, all adventurers and adrenaline lovers can join me on this exciting Cormor canyoning day in Valmalenco, Lombardia!**

The Cormor is an underground river which has sprung out of serpentine rock famous in Europe for its beauty. When the glimmers of light that come from above shine down on it it, it shows off its unique charm. And although this river is now tamed by two dams, there are still some defying abseils and deep navigations for you to try out.

Canyoning consists of exploring canyons using a variety of techniques like climbing, swimming, scrambling, rappelling and more. And during this one-day journey, you will do all of these activities under expert guidance. I have divided this trip in two parts. Both have similar difficulty and duration but they are different when it comes to the techniques we will use. First, we’ll approach the canyon at an altitude of 1800m. Then, each part of the trip will take 4 hours with rapid falls of up to 25 meters.

**Beginners and experienced participants as well as families accompanied by children (from 10 years old) and group of friends, are welcome to join me on this canyoning adventure. So send your request and prepare for an amazing canyoning day!**

With those new to ice climbing, we will focus on the most basic and important techniques. With experienced ice climbers we will focus on more advanced techniques in the more challenging areas of the valley. **From May to October, people who have already experienced the adrenaline of canyoning are welcome to join me on this one-day adventure in Val Bodengo!**

Located in the North of Italy, Val Bodengo is one of the most famous canyons in Europe and a hidden treasure of the Italian alps. Acclaimed for its charming emerald green pools with crystalline water, this descent is a symphony of water, shapes and colors. Moreover, its 20-25 meter shuttle slide has made this canyon one of the best spots in the country to experience canyoning.

**While prior canyoning experience is necessary, you don’t have to be an expert.** This trip is designed for those participants who already have some previous experience and are strong swimmers. This one day adventure will last 4 hours and it includes exposed sections and rapid falls of up to 23 meters. **Please take into account that I’ll lead this tour for a minimum of 5 people per group.**

Intermediate canyoning day trip in Val Bodengo

**No buildings, no roads, just a few shepherds’ old huts and very few paths to follow. Join me on this Selvaggio Blu 6 day trekking trip in Sardinia and discover the most fascinating and challenging route in Italy!**

The Gulf of Orosei stretches over 50 kms and is one of the most beautiful areas of Sardinia. Located in the east coast of the island, we’ll explore its Mediterranean forests, spectacular coves and challenging rocks. Some of these terrains will require to apply some technical climbing skills.

**The Selvaggio Blu trek includes abseiling, scrambling and very steep paths on loose rocks. However,  the most challenging part of this trip will be finding our trekking route.** That’s why it’ll be my pleasure to guide you through this island of unspoiled nature, its narrow paths and rocky cliffs.

During this 6 day adventure, **we’ll hike between 4 and 6 hours every day** always surrounded by the “bluest” Mediterranean water. We’ll sleep in secluded beaches and rest under the open sky where the stars will spark our dreams. Itinerary with no technical difficulties, leading to the Golgo plateau. It’s the best way to get familiar with the territory and to start admiring the beauties of the Selvaggio Blu.

Difference in altitude: 700m

Distance: 4km

Hiking time: 3h

Pedra Longa - Ciule Ginirricu 

Another stage with no climbing difficulties. This section of the route leads to Punta Salina, boasting one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the entire trek, before heading down to the sea.

Designated Unesco World Heritage Site, Goloritzé is a sandy corner hidden among the cliffs. The famous spire acting as guardian of the cove is the goal of climbers from all over Europe.

Difference in altitude: 700m

Distance: 5km

Hiking time: 4h

Cuile Ginirricu – Cala Goloritzè

First technical difficulties with a few class 3 climbing steps, short equipped paths and “Scala Fustes”. The trail enters the “wild heart” of the trek by making some variations from the classic itinerary. Then, we’ll head down to one of the most spectacular coves in the Mediterranean.

Difference in altitude: 590m

Distance: 8km

Hiking time: 4h

Cala Goloritzè – Cala Mariolu

The trail includes some more technical difficulties with some class 2 and class 3 climbing sections and 4 abseils. Each one of them is about 15 meters long.

The last abseil leads directly to the famous Grotta del Fico, the stopover of the day. The Grotta del Fico excursion is not part of the original itinerary, but it’s so beautiful that you simply shouldn’t miss it.

Hiking time: 6h

Cala Mariolu – Grotta d. Fico

Undoubtedly the most beautiful stage of the whole trek. The trail proceeds along the cliffs, through a cavern of goats and a via ferrata leading to the beautiful beach of Biriala. All these wonderful landscapes and views arouse a sequence of profound emotions.

Difference in altitude: 600m

Distance: 5km

Hiking time: 5h

Grotta d. Fico- Cala Biriala

Last stage of the trek, the trail towards Cala Sisine involves class 3 climbing sections and four 35m long abseils. It is a boardwalk on the same wild nature that will be admired a few hours later from the rubber boat on the way back.

Distance: 6km

**Val Bodengo offers an incredible setting for canyoning experts.** Our journey will include 32 to 60 meters of rapid falls and throughout the descends of these thrilling slides, participants will be constantly admiring this natural beauty of the Italian Alps. This trip will last between 7 or 8 hours, but it’s possible to complete a shorter route in case participants wish to do so. **Please bear in mind that all participants must have good previous experience and that I’ll lead this tour for a minimum of 3 people per group.**

Val Bodengo one day canyoning program for experts

**Whether you are taking your first steps into via ferrata climbing or you are a semi-pro, these tours are perfect for you!** You will enjoy a fun and dynamic climbing experience in a safe and scenic environment, while at the same time learn or refresh the basic via ferrata knowledge and skills for your future climbing adventures.

I offer 2-day trips in different locations within the **Italian Alps**. We usually climb selected routes around:

*   **Lake Como** (198m), the third largest lake in Italy, located in the Lombardy region.
    
*   The **Rhaetian Railway**, a mountain railroad network that connects Italy to Switzerland, within the **Bernina Range** (4,049m), one of the highest in the Alps.
    
*   The **Dolomites Range** (3,343m), part of the Southern Limestone Alps.
    

While the origins of via ferrata date from the nineteenth century, many of these routes were built during World War I to help troops move across the area. Today these offer the perfect ground for climbing enthusiasts of all levels.

These tours begin with a theory session focusing on analysis of the environment, climbing techniques, and safety management, followed by a field practice along the ferrata.

These trips are **open to everyone**. They are a great activity to share with friends and family, including children. However, kids must be at least 7 years old to be able to join and must be always accompanied by an adult.
