**I invite you to join an 8-day backcountry skiing & heliskiing adventure in the island of Maniitsoq.**  

Lying on western **Greenland,** Maniitsoq receives daily flights from Copenhagen. We'll stay at a hotel there.

Most days, we'll departure on a helicopter to reach the most incredible runs on the mountains of the west coast. Then, we'll make a short ascent with sealskins for an off-piste descent in wide-open areas with breathtaking views of glaciers going down to the sea.

I'm one of the few who discovered that Greenland is one of the best spots in the world for skiers. Since then, I have been guiding a lot of groups to let them live an unforgettable experience!

Each new day **we’ll get on a helicopter** and fly, looking for different skiing spots of the Greenland archipelago. As there’re **peaks of more than 2000 meters**, we’ll be skiing down from a really high altitude while admiring the blue ocean on our side.

As this heliboarding tour is **suitable for both skiers and snowboarders**, during the afternoons we can also go for some ski touring or snowboarding if you wish. At the end of each day we’ll return to our accommodation, on Maniitsoq’s west coast.

**I invite you to the first heliski base camp in Greenland. Enjoy this heliskiing guided trip around the best fjords of the Arctic Circle!**

**Greenland** has unique landscapes that will make you fall in love as soon as you get out of the helicopter. Untouched snow terrains, ocean, glaciers and the Eternity Fjord are the perfect setting for this once in a lifetime adventure.

During this 8-day trip, we’ll be based on the west coast of **Maniitsoq,** a small island with colorful houses.

As peaks exceed 2000 m of height, you’ll be skiing down from a really high altitude. Furthermore, you’ll have the stunning blue sea on your side all the time. And you may even see some whales!

Either on a speedboat or on a helicopter, we’ll reach different spots of the Greenland archipelago every day. Besides, we’ll go off piste skiing in wild and remote areas. During the afternoons, you can enjoy some ski touring or snowboarding.

We will meet at the hotel. We will talk about the itinerary, get the equipment checked and prepared to the following heliskiing days.

Meeting at the hotel

We will take a ship or the helicopter in order to get to the different spots of the archipelago from where we will descend and ski.

We will also do some off-piste skiing in groups of 4 around wild and remote areas.

Lunches will take place in front of the sea.

The afternoons will be very exciting because you can enjoy ski touring or snowboarding suitable for of kind of level.

Dinners and resting will take place in the accommodation of Maniitsoq, readily accessible by air. It is a great 3-star hotel in a strategic point of the region. All services are available in this lodge (laundry, WI-FI, sea-view rooms, TV).

Weather conditions change all the time but that won’t be a problem for us because Greenland offers many alternatives such as whale watching, kayaking, fishing, etc.

Our meeting point will be in Maniitsoq, from where the ship sets sail in direction to the islands.

Early in the morning we will go to a different ski touring piste by a motorboat.

The whole time we’ll be accompanied by the amazing blue sea on our side.

The lunches will be in wild and exotic environments and then, by the afternoon, we will return to the ship.

**Maniitsoq is a beautiful town in Western Greenland at the South of the Arctic Circle**. Because of its low population and unique nature its landscapes are of an indescribable beauty. **Maniitsoq is also a great whale watching and heliboarding and heliskiing destination**. Of course,  it does require some logistics and guidance to do these activities, which is where we come in**. On this eight day heliboarding and splitboarding adventure in Maniitsoq I will show you around this breathtaking and remote spot** in the North!

To get to Maniitsoq you will have to fly in from Copenhagen. Although it is not included in our itinerary, you might want to spend a few days there too! Once in Maniitsoq we will have the chance to explore different ascents and descents on our snowboards or skiis. We will kick off the day with a helicopter that will take us to some stunning mountains in the west coast and then take it from there**. As we skid down the lovely white snow we will have breathtaking views of glaciers and of the sea!** Then at night, we will return to the Maniitsoq hotel which overlooks the harbor.

Of course, for this trip you will need some previous snowboarding experience. And, logically good fitness is also a requirement. Groups however will be reduced, no more than four people per snowboard/ski group, so **attention will be very personalised. I will happily assist you with anything you need and show you around**!

Based in a confortable lodge in the heart of Patagonia, one hour driving from Santiago, we will leave every day with the helicopter to discover a new area, some new slopes… where nobody goes and where the snow is the best.
