For some years now I have been travelling in the mountains in summer and winter with great pleasure. I would love to share one or two mountain experiences with you. So if you have time and desire for fresh air, exercise and impressive nature experiences, I am happy:

Join me on this **1-day program** and discover a fantastic natural area as we hike the Julier Pass in the **Central Eastern Alps**, in **Switzerland**.

In the commune of **Sankt Moritz**, in the **Canton of Grisons**, the **Julier Pass** is a high mountain pass that belongs to the **Abula Range**, in the Alps. Apart from its beautiful landscapes, this is a very interesting historical area. Here, we’ll find **remains of Roman cart tracks and constructions** as well as million year old **marine fossils**.

The starting point of our hike will be **La Veduta guest house,** at an altitude of **2,233 meters**. The trail will lead us through **Val d’Agnel**, near Piz d’Agnel, and we’ll contemplate the impressive **Corn Alv**. Afterwards, we’ll continue through an amazing desert landscape and find a lake in the middle of the mountains, the **Fuorcla digl Leget**, at an altitude of **2,711 meters**. Finally, we’ll reach **Himmelstor** and descend through **Val Natons** and **Alp Natons**.

Please, take into account that it’s mandatory to have a **very good level of fitness** to take part of this trip. The complete duration of the program will be **6 hour**s with a distance of **11 kilometers.** We’ll face an elevation gain of **500 meters** at the ascent and **950 meters** at the descent. Also, consider that the starting and ending points are not the same.

Lunghin Pass, a triple basin near Piz Lunghin, Switzerland, is a colorful dreamland for explorers and hiking fans. This mountain pass (2,645 m) located in the Swiss canton of Graubünden has a special attribute: **the water that runs off it flows towards the North Sea, the Mediterranean Sea or the Black Sea**.

We will start our one-day hike on the historical Septimer Pass (2,310 m), located between the green valleys of Bergell and Surses. We will then head towards Pass Lunghin, where we will witness a remarkable feature: water dividing itself three ways on the top.

While we descend, we will get to enjoy **an admirable view of the Engadin Valley**, packed with pristine lakes that will enhance your senses.

Piz Mezdi, at an elevation of 2991 m, is a well-known Swiss jewel covered by amazing flora. This hiking route **goes from St. Moritz-Bad through a dense forest** where pines and larches stick out and guard the flowers that surround it.

I invite you to join me in a beautiful hiking journey towards Piz Mezdi. Along the way, we will be able to **admire the Bernina Massif**, one of the tallest mountain ranges in the Alps.
