I was born in Tokyo and grew up skiing in Hakuba, Japan. Throughout the years, I have visited Alaska, Peru, Patagonia, New Zealand, Nepal and Canada for winter climbing and backcountry snowboarding.
In 2012, I became the first Japanese person to pass the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides's ski guiding course on a Snowboard. I have been guiding in Japan (Hakuba Nagano and Mt. Fuji), New Zealand and Canada for over 15 years.

Yusuke was a fantastic guide. He took me on a private off season ascent of Mt Fuji. He appropriately assessed my abilities and planned our day accordingly. We had pleasant conversations throughout the day and his english was wonderful. I would highly recommend Yusuke as a guide.

Yusuf is the best guide we would have ever had for our trip.He helped and guided us through the hike. He even held mine and my daughters bags on the hike. My family was able to complete the hike to the summit in one day, it was a lot of hiking in one day when we are not an experienced hiker but Ysusf was our savior. Would recommend having Yusuf as a guide for Mt Fuji climb to any future hikers. Thank you from my family MP
