This 1-day Del Manzano Caves trek will take you to a land of fascinating rock formations.
Del Manzano Caves are part of the Maipo Valley, located only one hour east of Santiago de Chile. It's famous for its eccentric rock formations and caves, which were formed by the long and powerful erosion process.
One of the best features of this program is the possibility of spotting the mighty Andean Condor, one of the biggest flying birds in the world, capable of fly over 70 kms in one day.
This 6 hours activity will start with an easy walk through the native forest. Then will go up the slope to a higher ground where the rock caves and formations will surround us.
Finally, on the top of the hill we'll find a viewpoint to admire the beginning of the Cordillera de Los Andes and the Torrecillas del Manzano, a classic climbing spot.
Want to join me on this 1-day Del Manzano Caves trek? Send me a request to book this trip and I we'll have a wonderful day out in the nature.

UIAGM/IFMGA Mountain Guide from Chile
Mountain guide and instructor from the Chilean Andinism Federation (FEACH) and certified Wilderness First Responder.
I’ve opened several climbing routes in Chile, and was one of the first and very few Chileans to summit Cerro Torre, Fitz Roy, Paine Grande and Torres del Paine.
I climbed almost all the technical mountain in Cajón del Maipo, in Central Chile, and did some of the most important routes in Yosemite, Indian Creek and Patagonia.
And regarding ski mountaineering, I skied down Mount Illimani and Huayna Potosí in Bolivia, and Cerro Castillo, Morado Norte and Sur in Chile.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
