Description

Join me on this wonderful traverse to the Tour Ronde peak (3795m). From the summit, you’ll get to enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding peaks. Some of these mountains have shaped the history of mountaineering!

The Tour Ronde is the highest peak on the ridge between Mont Maudit and Gigante del Colle. The ascent can be done in a day (between 6 and 8 hours).

First, we will meet at the base of the Skyway lift in Courmayeur at 7.30 am. From there, we will go up to Pointe Helbronner, where our traverse begins.

Then the ascent will take place on a varied and pleasant route, without major technical difficulties. During the climb, you’ll enjoy some wonderful views of the glacier and also an easy passage over a crevasse.

From the summit, to the west, you will get to admire the slopes of the Mont Blanc Brenva between the Aiguille Blanche and Mont Maudit. In addition, to the north east you’ll find some of the most famous peaks in the Alps. For example, you’ll find Mont Blanc du Tacul, Aiguille du Midi and Aiguille Verte.

If this traverse to the Tour Ronde summit sounds like a plan, get in touch with me and we’ll arrange the details. It will be a great and memorable day that you’ll remember forever! So contact me now!

Also, make sure you check out my Aiguille d’Entreves traverse.
