Description

Gran Sasso d’Italia is a massif that belongs to the Apennines and lies between Teramo and L’Aquila provinces, inside Gran Sasso National Park. This park is one of the largest protected areas in Europe. Come and discover it on this 1-day mountaineering program.

Corno Piccolo lies at 2655 meters above sea level. Due to its incredible flat limestone walls, this mountain is a very interesting place for mountaineers and climbers. This is where our trip will take place!

On this program, we’ll follow a beautiful path to the summit of Corno Piccolo. We’ll start early in the morning and return in the afternoon. From the top of the mountain, you will be able to contemplate the astonishing panoramic views of the massif.

During the hike, we’ll cover a distance of 12 kilometers and experience an elevation gain of around 1000 meters. Therefore, if you want to take part of this trip, you must have prior mountaineering experience and a very good fitness level.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
