We will meet in Venice and travel to our first mountain hut. Here we will discuss our plans for the rest of the trip.
Today we will pass under the Tofana di Rozes and head toward the Col dei Bòs, before reaching our second mountain hut.
We will descend Monte Lagazuoi via the Forcella di Lech before spending the rest of the day hiking through the Valley of Franes.
We will descend through a unique karst landscape before ascending up Munt de Sennes.
We will begin approaching the Three Summits of Lavaredo via the Croda di Secco and Cabaña del Cavallo, before flanking halfway down the rocky wall of the Croda Rossa di Sesto.
Today we will summit Strudelkopf then descend to the Lago di Landro before ascending to Locatelli.
We will trek to the walls of Monte Paterno, which surrounds the Three Summits of Lavaredo then climb up to the Passo dei Tocci, where we will reach our final destination.
We will hike down to Misurina Lake where we will take a shuttle back to Venice.
We will stay in mountain huts throughout the duration of our trip.
I highly recommend that you bring the following supplies for this trek: backpack, flexible hiking boots, trekking stick, warm clothes, a jacket and waterproof pants, a cap and thin gloves, a Sabana Sack, sun screen and lip balm, sunglasses, and a front headlight and spare batteries.
AEGM and UIMLA guide from Spain.
I'm a mountain lover since I went up to Mulhacén at the age of 14. Since then I've been to mountains all around the world, always looking for new challenges.
I like to share the love I feel for the mountains, and all what I learned out there during all these years.
Some of my credentials:
- Certified mountain guide for blind people (UNED foundation)
- Wilderness Guide (WGA, currently in process)
- Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WAFA certified)
- Member of the Spanish Association of Mountain Guides (AEGM) and member of the Union of International Mountain Leaders Association (UIMLA)
Regarding my experience, I've done ascents and trekkings in the Alps, Pyrenees, Atlas range, Andes, Himalayas and Norway. I'm originally from Granada, in Andalucía, so I know in detail the region of Sierra Nevada.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures!
