Description

Are you looking for an outdoors experience where you can explore nature and try delicious food? If that’s so, this program in the Primiero Valley, in the Italian province of Trento, is ideal for you!

Our program will start in San Martino di Castrozza, in Trento, where we’ll have a briefing the day before our departure. Then, on each day of the program, we’ll visit a different refuge and taste its delicious cuisine.

Following this hut-to-hut route will allow us to discover the typical alpine landscapes of the Dolomites. We’ll cross beautiful forests and walk through the rocky terrain of the mountain range. On day 1, we’ll go to Rifugio Rosetta, very near San Martino. On day 2, we’ll visit Rifugio Pradidali. On the following day, we’ll travel to Rifugio Treviso. Finally, on day 4, we’ll return to San Martino di Castrozza and end the trip.

Please keep in mind that we’ll spend 4-5 hours hiking per day, so it’s important to be physically fit for this program. If you come in the summer, we’ll enjoy the perfect climate to explore this area.

Discover the incredible landscapes of the Dolomites and try the local meals of the different huts by taking part of this adventure. All you have to do is send the request and make your reservation. It will be a pleasure for me to be your guide.

Another good option in Italy could be this hiking program that I lead in Sardinia. Check it out!

The itinerary description is not very updated, for example, the difficulty level stated "beginner", in fact, I think it is not beginner at all. Re our guide, I and my husband thank very much for your guiding service. He is professional. As our friend is not able to cope with this type of trek, she has to break the journey from day 2. During the first 2 days, as she is very slow, Martino was patience and helpful to her, and even helped her to re-plan the journey to enable her to return to town. I and my husband supported her to break the journey if she can't manage. This has nothing related to Martino, it is solely because she is not used to this type of trekking. Safety is utmost important. I thank Martino to ensure her safety return to town.
