Join Will, a UIMLA-certified mountain guide, for this 1-week hike through the Dolomites, culminating in the summiting of Marmolada.

Dolomite Mountains

7 Days

* Enjoy the spectacular views of the Dolomites throughout the week.

* Stay in the iconic alpine mountain huts throughout the trek.

* Summit the Marmolada at the end of the trip.

Join me on this challenging but rewarding 1-week hiking expedition through the Italian Dolomites!

After we meet up, we will spend the first few days acclimatizing in the stunningly scenic mountain town of Colfosco. We will make the most of our time here by hiking into the mountains and building up our strength for the highlight of our trip.

In the evening, we will be free to enjoy the various restaurants and cafes in the town, tucking into some excellent local cuisine and drinks.

The Dolomites have recently, and rightly, been named a UNESCO world heritage site. You will see why throughout the week, as we enjoy spectacular views of snow-capped mountains and glaciers, sky blue lakes and picturesque evergreen forests.

For those of you who are feeling more adventurous, we will have the option of doing an overnight hike in which we will stay in one of the region’s iconic alpine huts.

Finally, at the end of our trip, we will spend the day hiking to the top of the 3.200 meter Marmolada and enjoy the breathtaking views from its summit. Afterwards, it is time to hike back to Colfosco and say our goodbyes.

So what are you waiting for? Book now for this scenic and exciting 1-week hike through the Italian Dolomites, culminating in us reaching the summit of the Marmolada!

If you like the look of this trip then I think you will also enjoy my 15-day trek through Peru’s Cordillera Huayhuash and tour of Machu Picchu!

I was looking for a local guide for a hike I was planning and came across Explore-Share. They seemed to have good reviews and so decided to give them a try. The experience was very positive and completely happy with their service. I will be using them again for next trip.

Easy to set up and find the perfect trip. Informative site that is easy to use. Guides are all great to work with and communicate all arrangements needed. As simple as can be!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
