For 10 full and wonderful days, we would like to guide you along the sensational Cedros Alpamayo Trek in the Cordillera Blanca of Peru.
Beginning in Huaraz, this trip along the Cedros Alpamayo Trek will take you to some of the most spectacular sections in the Cordillera Blanca.
During the trek, you will get to visit a number of unbelievable places. Those places include great spots like Vaqueria, Tuctu, Paso Tupa Tupa, Hulica, The Alpamayo Base Camp, Hualcayan and so many more. In all of these places, you’ll see a number of gorgeous glacial lakes, rivers and amazing peaks, including Alpamayo, where you can gaze upon the famed peak’s north side, which is considered one of the most beautiful mountain views in the world. And, each night, you will get to camp at a different location that will provide you with stunning evening views of the stars and landscape.
Considered the longest and most challenging hike in the Cordillera Blanca, the Cedros Alpamayo trek will push you as much as it will amaze you. However, as a result of the challenges that come with this trek, you should have prior hiking experience. You should also be in good physical condition.

Day 2: Tuctu (4200m) – Punta Unión (4750m) – Tuctu (4200m).
Day 3: Tuctu (4200m) – Paso Pucajircas (4650m) – Ucruncocha (3900m).
Day 4: Ucruncocha (3900m) – Paso Tupa Tupa (4400m) – Jancapampa (3600m).
Day 5: Jancapampa (3600m) – Paso Janacon (4600m) – Huilca (4100m).
Day 6: Huilca (4100m) – Paso Mesapata (4460m) – Paso Cara Cara (4800m) – Jancarurish (4200m)

The guide did the absolute minimum he could possibly do. The food provided was definitely not enough for what we were doing. This was already a fast itinerary and he cut it short by two more days. It made it extremely dangerous for us as clients. 2 of the 5 of us had to get flown off the mountain by helicopter due to edema because we didn’t acclimate properly. The guide then lied on social media and claimed 100% success to the summit. He really is a snake. He only cared about cutting everything and doing it as cheap as possible, most likely just to make a few more bucks. If this was a service offered in the U.S., there would’ve been a lawsuit. He should never guide this trip ever again for the pure safety of the clients.
