* Explore the natural beauty of Italy's northern Aosta Valley.
* Pass through forest, meadows, pastures and and ancient lands.
* Challenge yourself to this 130-kilometre alpine trek.
Explore the wild beauty of the Italian northern valley of Aosta on a 10-day trek from Courmayeur to Gran Paradiso.
Courmayeur, a northern town in the Aosta Valley, lies at the foot of the south side of Mont Blanc. Its picturesque mountain scenery makes it a highly attractive destination.
Its local church dates back to the 18th century and is home to the Giardino Botanico Alpino Saussurea, one of the highest botanical gardens in the world.
With the striking Mont Blanc behind us, we’ll trek southwards through the wild alpine beauty of the Aosta Valley. The combination of diverse flora and fauna species bring life to the remoteness of the valley.
We’ll pass by the ancient landscape of lands long inhabited by folklore, customs and legends.
Trekking though medium to high altitudes, and passing wild forest, meadows and pastures, we’ll reach the stunning mountain of Gran Paradiso, surrounded in the national park.
This is a challenging trip that is a total of 130 kilometres in length, as well as reaching 3,000m altitudes along mountain passes. For this reason, potential participants are expected to have a good level of fitness and stamina in order to fully enjoy the 1-day trek.

Ten years ago, my lifelong passion for exploring the natural world led me to become a mountain guide.
I have trekked, climbed and skied all around the world. Throughout my travels, I have crafted tour itineraries in some of the most beautiful and diverse places on the planet.
All of my trips are born out of a pure love for the outdoors. I offer trekking, climbing and skiing tours throughout the Alps and in the Himalayas. I lead tours on both classic and off the beaten path routes to some of the highest peaks on Earth.
Whatever route you choose, you can count on an unforgettable journey into the mountains.
I’m extremely happy with the ease with which I could book via your site reliable and experienced guide. Thank you so very much, and I’ve started to recommend your site to my friends. Dimitris is not only an awesome guide, but a wonderful person who was always looking out to give me the best experience I can have when he found out how much I love climbing! He is the Best!
I am very pleased with Explore-Share! This was my first international climb, and the communication and response time were great. Herbie is a very skilled guide and very efficient. The entire booking process & payment was smooth. I will definitely use Explore-Share again. Thank you.
I was looking for a local guide for a hike I was planning and came across Explore-Share. They seemed to have good reviews and so decided to give them a try. The experience was very positive and completely happy with their service. I will be using them again for next trip.
Easy to set up and find the perfect trip. Informative site that is easy to use. Guides are all great to work with and communicate all arrangements needed. As simple as can be!
Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
