All the way from Hualcayan to the Llanganuco Valley, join me on this exciting 15-day Alpamayo trek!

As one of the most distinctive mountains in the Cordillera Blanca of the Peruvian Andes, Alpamayo (5,947 meters) is known as the “most beautiful peak in the world”.

We will start our journey in the beautiful city of Huaraz, located in the Ancash Region and from there we will be transported to Hualcayan, where the real adventure will begin! During the days to come we will trek along stunning turquoise lakes and spectacular landscapes.

During this trip, we will go through some charming and remote villages, with thatched mud huts and steep terraces and explore some archaeological sites where we will learn about the interesting and rich history this country has to offer.

Depending on the participants wishes, once we finish our trek, we may even climb the Nevado Pisco (5756 meters) where we will enjoy an amazing view of the Cordillera Blanca. Definitely, a great way to finish this thrilling adventure!

Regarding our accommodation, we will sleep in tents and camp in the bottom of some of the amazing peaks that can be found in this mountain range. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy the comfort of walking only with a daypack as donkeys and local porters will help us along the way.
