Description

Would you like to discover some of the most stunning peaks near Mendoza? Then join me on a 2-day program to one of the 4000 m summits in the central Andes!

With the central Andes at its western flank, Mendoza is famous for its beautiful mountain landscapes. It is also a great starting spot for a mountaineering adventure. In this 2-day program, I will take you to the top of one of the many 4000 m peaks in the region. Options include summits in ‘Cordon del Plata’ range: Cerro Stepanek, Cerro San Bernardo, Cerro Adolfo Calle or Cerro Pedro Zanni in ‘Cordillera del Límite’.

We will meet the day before our adventure in Mendoza to check equipment. Then, the next day we will set off to the mountain together where we will begin hiking and acclimatizing. On the second day of our adventure, we will climb to the summit of our mountain of choice, and revel at the stunning views from the top. Finally, we will descend and return to the city in the afternoon.

Keep in mind that you will need to be physically fit to join this program. We will enjoy hiking for 8 to 10 hours per day. Of course, I will be there to help and guide you!

So, are you ready to discover some of the colorful landscapes of the central Andes? Then book your place now and join me on a 2-day adventure to the top of one of the 4000 m peaks in Mendoza!

Or, if you prefer, you can join me on this 3-day climb to the top of Cerro Penitentes!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
