2-day Climbing tour in Ortler with a guide

The Ortler, also known as “The King of the Eastern Alps”, is the highest mountain in South Tyrol, Italy, and ideal for mountaineers! With 3.905 meters of height, it offers stunning views of the incredible Ötztal Alps, the Silvretta and Bernina Mountains, the Brenta, and the Dolomites. Join me for an amazing 2-day trip climbing to the top.

We’ll start this trip from Solda. There, we’ll hike for 2 hours to reach the Hintergrathütteto at 2.661 meters. The next day, we’ll go towards Hintergrat. This is an impressive high altitude route covered in ice and rocks, offering multiple climbing opportunities. In addition, we’ll be rewarded with beautiful views of the mountains surrounding the Ortler Group. We’ll reach the summit in 6 hours and enjoy the gorgeous views from the top. Our descent will take, approximately, 6 hours as well down the glaciated Payerweg.
