The Aosta Valley in Italy is very well known and popular with visitors from around the world. Located in the Alps of Italy and surrounded by a number of welcoming towns, it is a great place to take a vacation. Along with the fantastic accommodation options, there are also a number of wonderful activities visitors can enjoy as well. And, on this 2-day trip, you will get to enjoy one of the most popular activities in the valley: ice climbing.
During this trip, I would like to guide you on an ice climbing trip you will never forget. There are a number of great ice climbing spots you can choose from during this trip. And, because the trips lasts 2 full days, you will get to enjoy several of those options. The one place we will definitely be visiting and enjoying in the Aosta Valley is Cogne, which is home to some of the best ice falls in the entire area.
Due to the variety of ice climbing options available during this trip, people of varying skill levels can enjoy it. However, due to the physical nature of ice climbing, regardless if you are a beginner or expert, it is important that participants are in good physical condition.
Filled with beauty, both natural and man-made, the Aosta Valley is an amazing place. That beauty only gets better as you get to admire it while scaling a frigid ice fall. To join me on this 2-day adventure, please send a request.
I also offer a great via ferrata trip in the Susa Valley, near Torino.

My name is Piergiorgio. I was born in the warm south of Italy and grew up in Florence where I first started climbing.
At the age of 21 I graduated with a degree in Forestry and Environmental Sciences, yet rock climbing had energized my life in such a positive way that I realized that I had to live fully in the vertical world.
It was then that radically transformed my life to pursue my dream of becoming a Mountain Guide and so I moved to Torino to gain the experience and skills required to pass the rigors of my trade.
I'm an IFMGA Mountain Guide.
Join me! I can’t wait to share my greatest passion with enthusiasm and awareness in my favorite environments. After gaining experience and increasing my ability in each discipline, I participated in the IFMGA Aspirant Mountain Guides course and graduated in 2017. Nowadays, my greatest passion is to share with enthusiasm and awareness the most incredible environment: our Alps.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
