2-day mountaineering trip in Licancabur Volcano

Licancabur Volcano is a stratovolcano that belongs to the Andes and is located on the border between Chile and Bolivia. Due to its shape, this peak is one of the most characteristic volcanoes of the area. It has an altitude of 5,972 meters and is considered to be a sacred place in the Inca culture.

Our trip will start in San Pedro de Atacama, in the northern area of Chile. On day 1, we’ll go from this area to the border with Bolivia and visit the beautiful Laguna Verde, at the base of the mountain. On day 2, we’ll begin our trek to the summit of Licancabur and you will get to see its incredible crater.

This is a challenging excursion. Therefore, take into account that you should have a very good fitness level to take this trip. Of course, I will be there to help and guide you on the way.
