Description

If you already have some experience rock climbing outdoors but wish to extend tour climbing to multi-pitch routes and learn how to manage them by yourself, then this climbing course is for you! I organize 2-day multi-pitch rock climbing courses near Geneva, usually during weekends.

This course is ideal for climbers that have some prior autonomous climbing experience. In fact, it is the perfect continuation to other weekend programs that I offer, such as a climbing weekend in Provence or a climbing weekend in Alsace. But if you gained rock climbing experience on your own, you are also more than welcome to join!

I like to keep groups small, so as to ensure that the participants make the most of their time and I can focus enough on each of them. Therefore, I can take up to 4 people with me.

I am based in Geneva, Switzerland, and I propose a 2-day program in the area that doesn’t include accommodation, since the idea is that you go back home on Saturday evening and we meet again on Sunday morning to continue the second day.

During this course, I will teach you how to belay and how to abseil on well-equipped sport climbing routes, in a step-by-step approach. Besides, you will learn how to manage different conditions in the mountains. And if you want to go a level further, on a different weekend I can teach you how to install belays and to abseil in routes with non-related belays.

Want to gain more rock climbing experience in a weekend? Then this climbing course is for you! Check below the next planned departure and book this trip!

Very user friendly platform with timely responses from Explore Share representatives. The trip itself with Tom from Alps Adventures was awesome and ensure that we had an experience that was 100% what we wanted. Recommend both the platform and the guide. Thanks to all for arranging and delivering so well.

I had am amazing time during the 1-day off-piste training course at Hoch-Ybrig. Urs, our main mountain guide, was very helpful in answering my queries before the course, and Lupe from explore-share was helpful in selecting the course. We had 3 groups under Urs, Mario and Patrick, and I was in the group with Patrick. He gave us a lot of nice tips and individualized video analysis. He made a special effort to convey everything in English, since I don't know German. All the participants were very helpful and friendly too! The course is good value for money as skis are included for the weekend in the course price.
